Switchboard - How to Manage Tags on Any Web Site
Trying to manage tags on any web site can be a daunting task, especially when it comes to implementing multiple tags at the same time on the same site. It can also be frustrating when your application is failing and you're trying to troubleshoot the issue.
Our solution is Switchboard. This Chrome browser extension will allow you to automatically change your requests to a site or page so you can test the change before rolling it out to your live site.
We have included an Active tab that will detect the tag manager implementation on the site and give you the ability to switch seamlessly between your production and development environment. This means you will have access to both your development and production tags when debugging or trying to figure out a technical issue.
The Custom tab is another tab that will allow you to manually change any tag network request for anything you want. This means you can do one tag at a time, or all tags on the page.
